OK Player Week: Week 3

PBR Oklahoma will cover a position player and pitcher of the week for every week of the season this year. We will use coach and player submissions as well as notes from our own scouting to choose each every week.

Carson Benge 3B / RHP / Yukon, OK / 2021The 6-foot-2, 175-pound two-way standout put together a monster week for the Yukon Millers, helping them to go 3-0 against stiff competition last week. At the plate, the left-handed hitter went 4-for-6 with a HR and 2B, even after getting pitched around five times. On the mound, Benge threw five innings of a no-hitter against a ranked opponent, punching out 8 and sitting 90-92.
