OK Player of the Week: Week 6

PBR Oklahoma will cover a player of the week for every week of the season this year. We will use coach and player submissions as well as notes from our own scouting to choose each every week. This week, it's Gray Thomas earning the accolade. The top of the Choctaw lineup recieves honorable mention nods in what was probably the most impressive offensive week had by one team in the state since we started our coverage in 2017.

Gray Thomas RHP / Heritage Hall, OK / 2021Known as a high profile arm, Thomas picked up the bat and did some serious damage on both sides of the ball this week helping Heritage Hall to an undefeated week. The TCU commit went 4.1 innings on 55 pitches, punching out eight, not allowing a hit while giving up just one walk to the last batter he faced. Offensively, the right-handed hitter went 10-for-13 with four doubles and a triple, 5 runs scored, and nine RBIs. |

Phoenix Meza SS / 2B / Choctaw, OK / 2022The Oklahoma State commit batted .611 with 11 hits, four home runs, two triples, 16 RBIs and still drew seven walks.

One of the top freshman in the state, outfielder hit .571 out of the two-hole for Chactaw.

One of the top uncommitted players in the state, the right-handed hitter batted .565 with a home run, three doubles, and 13 total hits.

One of the most athletic players in the 2022 class, Boles batted .524 with two home runs, 13 RBIs, and 11 hits.

The strong right-handed hitter batted .474 with two home runs, 14 RBI, and nine hits.

One of the biggest noise makers at the OK Preseason All-State Showcase, the right-handed hitter batted .450 with four doubles, and ten RBIs.
