OK Players of the Week: Week 1

Andy Urban
OK/MO/KS Scouting Supervisor

PBR Oklahoma will cover a position player and pitcher of the week for every week of the season this year. We will use coach and player submissions as well as notes from our own scouting to choose each every week. In the weeks to come, we may add honorable mentions or class leaders as well.

Noah Shepherd C / 3B / Holland Hall, OK / 2021

The Week 1 position player of the week goes to 2021 catcher Noah Shepherd from Holland Hall and Kansas Wesleyan sign. The right-handed hitter went 6-for-8 on the week with two HRs, three doubles, 4 walks, and sac fly. Shepherd helped Holland Hall to a 3-1 week.

Brennan Phillips LHP / OF / Owasso, OK / 2022

The 2022 LHP form Owasso and Oklahoma State commit produced one of the most dominants pitching performances we have seen while scouting in OK. On night one of the season, Phillips completed the shutout allowing just two hits and punching out 20 against a top 10 ranked rival.
