CHICKASHA (4A) @ EDMOND SANTA FE (6A) 3-4
There may be no crazier ending to any game so far this year than what happened at Edmond Santa Fe last night. Down by one in the bottom of the seventh, after giving up two runs and the lead in the top of the inning, Santa Fe’s Ryan Knutson lead off the inning with a double for his second hit on the day. Nick Glazner pinch hits and attempts  to sac Knutson over to third, but an error on the throw allows Knutson to reach third and Glazner to get to second. Another pinch hitter, Ethan Schlabach, lays down another sac, and the Wolves wave  both Glazner  and Knutson all the way around to score after some contact between Schlabach and the second baseman at first base, ending the game. Dominic Johnson  and Dominick Trevino both had productive days at the plate for Santa Fe, going 2-for-3.  For Chickasha, Cody Freeman gets no decision after giving up only two runs, one earned, on seven hits, and striking out four through six innings.

COLLINSVILLE (5A) vs MIDWEST CITY (6A) 3-4
NOC Enid commit E.J. Taylor was the hero in the dramatic finish with a go ahead RBI single to put the Bombers up one in the top of the game, which would end up being enough. Taylor was 2-for-3 in the game with two RBI, a run scored, and a walk. Also having a big offensive day for Midwest City was Cameron Hodges, who went 2-for-2  with two walks. Freshman Kaleb Bedford kept the Cardinal’s offense at bay for six innings, only allowing three runs, two earned, on five hits. For Collinsville, Nick Sunday was the offensive star of the day, going 3-for-4 including a game tying two run double to dead center field in the bottom of the sixth. Independence CC commit Chase Lorg was outstanding on the mound in relief, striking out eight in three innings while only walking one, but an unearned run in the eighth gave him the loss.
