TOP PROSPECTs
Domenic Popa, 2020, OF, Seton-La Salle Catholic HS (PA)
5-foot-10, 170-pound left-handed hitter is currently ranked No. 44 in the PA Class of 2020 and will be participating as a member of Team Pennsylvania this August in the 2018 PBR Future Games in Indiana. Popa took one of the top rounds of batting practice at the event and carried that into game play going 6-for-7 over the course of two games. The lefty showed advanced feel for his barrel lining hits to all fields while nearly beating out a infield single in the lone at bat where he was retired. Currently nursing a hamstring, Popa did not run the 60-yard dash but has run a 6.90 at past events. The primary outfielder showcased 83 mph arm strength during defensive evaluations, an 86 mph bat exit velocity and worked three scoreless innings on the mound.
Andrew Muraco, 2021, SS/RHP, Franklin Regional HS (PA)
5-foot-10, 170-pounder showcased the all-around skill set that allowed him to excel as an every day starter as a freshman at Franklin Regional. The left-handed hitter flashed above average barrel whip in BP with an 84 mph bat exit velocity. A barreled out to the warning track in right field on day two gave an indication of things to come. Defensively Muraco moves around with a bounce in his step and displayed the ability to make plays on the move with an ability to make throws from multiple arm angles. His 81 mph arm strength should continue to develop as his athletic frame fills out. Muraco also worked three effective innings on the mound sitting 77-80 out of a 3/4 arm slot with command to both sides of the plate. The right-hander also displayed a feel for a curveball with 11/5 rotation at 65-67.
Remainder of Roster: (in alphabetical order)

Dalton Moore, 2019, RHP, Bethel Park HS (PA)
6-foot-4, 220-pound righty sat 76-77 out of a high 3/4 arm slot. Has more velocity in his delivery if he learns to better incorporate his lower half. Curveball with 11/5 rotation sat 65-66. Worked three innings allowing six hits while inducing four ground ball outs.

Matt Stanger, 2020, C/3B, Seneca Valley HS (PA)
6-foot-1, 195-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a lift-and-replace stride. An arm bar creates some barrel lag and a bat exit velocity of 80 mph. Ran a 7.45 60-yard dash and showcased pop times of 2.19-2.27 on throws of 73 mph from the crouch. Physical athlete will be an interesting follow in this class.
