Dom#1 La Salle 4  #22 Archbishop Carroll 0

  • The La Salle Explorers bounced back from a loss earlier in the week behind solid pitching and timely hitting in the bottom of the sixth inning. The Explorers exploded four all four runs in the pivotal sixth highlighted by Dominic Cuoci's two run double. OF Jimmy Herron was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI in the Explorers five hit attack.

#3 Wilson West Lawn 11  Central Dauphin 6

  • Central Dauphin touched up Kent State recruit Andy Ravel for six hits and four runs over five innings but it was not enough. Wilson combined nine hits and seven free passes to score its 11 runs.

Cardinal O'Hara 4  #2 Malvern Prep 2

  • Cardinal O'Hara pitcher Will Latcham held Malvern Prep to three hits and two runs to pick up the win. Chris Salvey was 2-for-2 with two doubles and Dan Dwyer added a home run. West Chester recruit Billy Ford hit a home run in a losing cause.

Archbishop Wood 11  Conwell-Egan 1

  • Matt Mandes led off the game with a solo home run and Archbishop Wood never looked back. Justin Babb went four innings to pick up the win, yielding two hits and one run, while striking out seven.

St. Joseph's Prep 10  Archbishop Ryan 8

Hershey 8  Palmyra 3

  • Hershey moved to 2-1 on the season and sent Palmyra (2-1) to its first loss. Zach Drayer and Chris Stauch combined to limit Palmyra to just four hits on the day.

CrepsIndiana 9  Deer Lakes 5

  • Sean Thompson went 4-for-4 to lead the Little Indians (1-0) to a non-section victory over Deer Lakes (0-2) in a game played at Pullman Park. Ryan Creps doubled and Dan Clark tripled for Indiana.

Salisbury 15  Dieruff 7

  • Salisbury moved to 2-0 behind a triple and four RBI from Mason Kresley.

Plum 7  Kiski Area 3

  • Mike Maleski led Plum to its fourth straight win Saturday, as the Mustangs downed Kiski Area, 7-3, in a non-section baseball game at Plum. Maleski had three hits, including a home run, as Plum (4-0) took a 6-0 lead into the sixth inning. Will Kirkpatrick added a double for Plum. The game was the season opener for Kiski Area (0-1).
