Corner Infield Analysis

Ethan Baer, Seneca Valley HS, 3B, 2021
6-foot-2, 170-pound left-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a lift-and-replace stride. Displayed a flat barrel path through the zone with a high finish and some lower half glide. Registered a bat exit velocity of 80 mph and ran a 7.19 60-yard dash. Showcased active feet and played through the baseball routinely with accurate 79 mph arm strength across the diamond.

Mike Gregos, Daniel Boone HS, 3B, 2021
Physical 6-foot, 208-pound right-handed hitter starts from a wide, square stance and utilizes a heel raise stride to initiate his swing. Showcased balance throughout with above average strength in his lower half, consistently driving baseballs to the pull side with backspin. Potential middle of the order, run producing bat at the next level. Registered a bat exit velocity of 91 and ran a 7.31 60-yard dash. Showed active feet and solid lateral range defensively with improved 84 mph arm strength across the diamond.

Caelob Packer, Penns Valley HS, 1B/LHP, 2020
6-foot-1, 205-pound left-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a toe-tap stride. Front hip leak leads to a loss of power and balance issues. Registered a bat exit velocity of 86 mph and ran a 7.77 60-yard dash. Showcased a developing defensive skill set around the bag at first base with 74 mph arm strength across the diamond. The lefty sat 68-73 on the mound from a side arm delivery. Curveball showed frisbee rotation at 63-65. Changeup at near fastball arm speed sat 63-65.

Jon Pinciotti, Council Rock South HS, 3B, 2021
6-foot-2, 185-pound right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and initiates his swing with a lift-and-replace stride. Some lower half glide leads to some length, but a feel for the barrel is present. Registered a bat exit velocity of 87 mph and ran a 7.46 60-yard dash. Displayed active feet while playing through the baseball routinely defensively. Showcased a long arm motion with accurate 80 mph arm strength across the diamond. Athletic frame with room to continue to add strength with a well-rounded skill set makes Pinciotti a follow in this class moving forward.

Aidan Quinn, Central Bucks West HS, 3B, 2022
5-foot-11, 180-pound left-handed hitter continued to show why he is one of the top left-handed bats in this class. He starts from a square stance and utilizes a leg lift stride to begin. Hands are free and easy through contact generating advanced barrel whip. Current gap power will continue to develop with additional strength gains. Registered a bat exit velocity of 87 mph and ran a 7.71 60-yard dash. Moves well laterally at third base working routinely to field the good hop. Showcased straight line carry on throws of 82 mph across the diamond.
