Elite Prospect Showcase Spotlight: 2018 SS/OF Nick Serafino

A little less than a month remains until PBR Pennsylvania's Elite Prospect Showcase on October 29th at Keystone State Baseball Academy in Manheim. Today, we continue a series of previews on prospects who will be in attendance, as we highlight Canon-McMillan 2018 SS/OF Nick Serafino.
The 5-foot-10, 170-pound junior shined at multiple PBR events over the course of the summer. The right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and strides to square. He has a simple approach that allows him to stay inside the baseball repeatedly with a bat exit velocity of 82 mph. Serafino combined to go 6-for-16 in game action at the Western PA Top Prospect Games in June and at the Pennsylvania Travel Baseball Championships in August. Serafino runs a 6.90 60-yard dash and has displayed the capable defensive actions at multiple infield positions as well as in the outfield.
