2/12/17 5-foot-10, 175-pound right-handed hitter showcased across the board jumps in his game since we last saw him just three months ago. The right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a leg-lift stride to initiate his swing. Loads hands downward from a high-hands starting position and often races to get his foot down and hands to the hitting zone on time. Displayed and improved bat exit velocity of 82 mph and ran a 7.49 60-yard dash. Showcased improved footwork and more fluid actions defensively with 83 mph arm strength across the diamond.

10/29/16 5-foot-10, 180-pound right-handed hitter. Starts from a slightly open stance. Struggles to repeat swing that starts with his hands by his ear and abruptly jerks them down below armpit level for launch. Ran a 7.36 60-yard dash and posted a 76 mph exit velocity. Defensively, he recorded 76 mph arm strength and would benefit from improving his footwork so that he can put himself in position to be on balance and field the baseball out front more consistently.

Works fast out of a high three-quarter slot. Funky wind-up with slight hip coil and spins around his front leg. Fastball sat 78-79, while he also featured a slider at 66-70 and a curveball at 57-60 on which he will need to maintain fastball arm/body speed in order to generate the desired action.
