2018 EARLY COMMITS

Aaron FeldAaron Feld, RHP, Octorara HS
PBR Rank: #63 in PA Class of 2018 rankings
PBR Notes:
2017 Preseason All-State Showcase (2/12/17) Physical 6-foot-2, 195-pound build. Quick arm with a bit of effort produced a fastball that sat 85-86 out of a high three-quarter slot. Slurvy breaking ball flashed hard bite at 71-72. Firm change-up at 79-81 had short, hard sink to it. Bit of a low elbow can, at times, lead to coming across his delivery and limited plane on offerings, but there's plenty to like about his three-pitch mix and physique.

Jimmy LoshJimmy Losh, 2B/SS, Cedar Cliff HS
PBR Rank: #153 in PA Class of 2018
PBR Notes:
2017 Underclass Preview (1/14/17) 5-foot-11, 170-pound switch-hitter with a solid frame displayed the well rounded skill set that earned him a selection to the Team Pennsylvania roster for the 2016 Big 26 Classic last summer. Starts from a square stance from both sides of the plate and initiates his swing with a leg-lift stride. Creates 85 mph bat exit velocity with an aggressive hip turn and above average intent. Ran a 7.01 7.01 60-yard dash and flashed active feet with a quick release defensively.

Alex MykutAlex Mykut, RHP, Huntingdon Area HS
PBR Rank: #103 in PA Class of 2018 rankings
PBR Notes:
2017 Western PA Top Prospect Games (7/18/17) 6-foot-4, 215-pound uncommitted right-hander has made a name for himself with two impressive performances at PBR events this summer. After sitting 82-85 at the Eastern PA Top Prospect Games in June, he followed that up by sitting 86-88 on this date. Displayed good tempo and repeatable mechanics with the potential to continue adding velocity. Curveball showed one plane action at 70-73 and he also showcased an occasional changeup at 70-71. Mykut worked three innings allowing four hits while striking out four. He showed solid command not allowing a walk and got six outs via ground balls.

Kris PirozziKris Pirozzi, RHP, Lampeter-Strasburg HS
PBR Rank: #25 in PA Class of 2018 rankings
PBR Notes:
(5/15/17) 5-foot-11, 180-pound right-hander works from an overhead rocker delivery with a strong leg drive out of a high 3/4 arm slot. Fights the tendency of lower half getting ahead of arm causing him to have command issues up in the zone. Sat 83-86 for five innings with 10 Ks and just two hits allowed. Touched 88-89 early on but showed most consistent command in the mid-80s range. Down in zone fastball showed late life and arm-side run. Curveball at times showed two-planed 11/5 break at 70-73. Also showcased occasional changeup at 70-72.

Tyler WrightTyler Wright, SS/2B, Devon Prep
PBR Rank: #125 in PA Class of 2018 rankings
PBR Notes:
5-foot-10, 155-pound middle infielder with enough arm strength to stay on the left side of the infield at the next level. Left-handed hitter has an above average feel for the barrel and has a chance to be a top-of-the-order table setter during his college career. Steady offensive performer has shown the ability to get on base and handles the bat well enough to potentially see early playing time. Wright hit .478 as a junior with eight doubles and swiped eight bases in garnering All-Main Line honors.
