Mingo Bay Classic Off and Running

By Greg Williams

Pennsylvania Director of Scouting

The Mingo Bay Classic began Monday with the Williamsport Millionaires carrying the torch for the Keystone State.  A total of 9 teams from West Virginia and Pennsylvania have headed south for a week of competition in Myrtle Beach, SC. Teams from our Prep Baseball Report coverage area have combined to go 10-8 over the first two days of action.

Williamsport (3-0) is off to a 2-0 start in tournament action with a big game against one of the tournament hosts, the Socastee, SC Braves. A win by the Millionaires today would earn them the No. 1 seed in their pool heading into semifinal action on Thursday.
