Team Phenom
Bonner-Prendergast 2017 first baseman Tim Dougherty impressed during game play this past spring. The physical 6-foot, 210-pound left-handed hitter barreled a mid- to upper-80s arm twice the other way and then showed some pullside pop against a soft lefty.
Mt. Sinai (NY) 2018 infielder George Rainer flashes some bat speed with gap power potential as a right-handed hitter and exhibits solid defensive actions.
Avon Grove 2017 LHP/OF Bryce Carey works in the upper-70s (touching 80 mph) and has shown good plate discipline (eight walks, two strikeouts as a junior).
Coatesville Area 2017 LHP/1B Damon Nelson sports a 6-foot-3, 245-pound frame, has some power potential in his swing, and features a mid-70s fastball with clean arm action on the mound.
College commitments include Bishop Shanahan RHP/OF Nick O'Day (ranked #2 in the PA 2018 class) to Texas Christian and Downingtown East 2017 RHP Evan Gegeckas to New Jersey Tech.
