Player of the Week: 2017 Catcher Zordan Zilka

As we approach the end of the regular season for high school baseball across the state Belle Vernon Area junior catcher Jordan Zilka is making a push for a bump in the PA Class of 2017 rankings.

Currently ranked No. 82, the 6-foot, 205-pound C/1B is hitting .397 through 19 games. Zilka has driven in 18 runs and has shown developing power at the plate with three doubles, two triples and two home runs among his 25 hits. Zilka shined at the 2015 Elite Prospect Showcase in November.
