Preseason Preview: North Penn HS (District 1)

By Greg Williams
PA Director of Scouting

posavecThe North Penn Knights had a solid year in 2012, finishing 2nd to Hatboro-Horsham in their league, advancing to the 2nd round of the District 1 playoffs and an overall record of 16-6. Returning from that roster in 2013 will be four every day starters and just two pitchers with varsity experience. Head Coach Kevin Manero will be searching to replace 95 innings of pitching that have graduated. Manero feels as though good team speed and top of the rotation pitching will be strengths for his club heading into the new season. Following is a look at the Knights who should make an impact on the success of the 2013 campaign.
