PROGRESS Report

FIRST LOOK NOTES: 9/26/2020, PA Fall Prospect Showcase -- The aggressive left-handed hitter produced an uphill swing path and recorded a 91 mph peak exit velocity with natural bat-speed flashing. Lived on the barrel with more power in the tank, finding an efficient plane to generate deep batted-ball distances. The 7.39 footspeed needed development as did an average-paced approach during defensive evaluations. 
RECENT IMPROVEMENTS: 2/12/2022, Preseason All-State Southwest -- Made jumps across the board, starting with a 7.28 60-yard dash out of the gate (.10 better) and a quicker internal clock during positional evaluations. An 83 mph arm-strength carried accurately to the plate possibly opening up either corner OF spot down the road, then turned around a top batting practice round from the left-side. Found the barrel repeatedly, setting personal bests in sweet spot% (88%), line drive rate (88%), and hard hit rate (75%). Also increased bat-speed (mid 70's average, T79 mph) and hand-speed (25 average, T27 mph max) into the elite tiers with the offensive skillset posing as an advanced tool. The Bethel Park product is now running exit velocities into the mid 90's routinely with the accuracy to match.
