The Hotlist: Unsigned Seniors Off To Strong Starts

By Nathan Rode and PBR Staff

Just because the recruiting game operates at break-neck speed now doesn’t mean there aren’t seniors with the ability to play at the next level looking to make a commitment. Several unsigned seniors have made progress since last year and are off to good starts this spring. They are listed alphabetically below.

Matt Albin, RHP, Glenbard North HS, IL
The 5-foot-9 right-hander has been lights out so far this season. Last week, he took a perfect game into the seventh, but had to settle for a shutout, racking up 12 strikeouts with no walks. He followed that up with another stellar performance, going six innings with seven strikeouts and three hits and one run allowed. For the season, Albin is 3-0 and has 25 strikeouts in 18 innings while allowing just five hits.
