Uncommitted '24 RHP/1B Connor Crabtree (La Salle) has an imposing, starter's frame at 6-foot-5, 218lbs. Crabtree is an interesting arm as he is able to run his FB up to 90 MPH, while it sits 86-88 MPH, and also has a 12-6 breaking ball that he drops for strikes. The CH is also in play as Crabtree can float it over the plate at 77-79 MPH. Crabtree works repeatable mechanics with a very early hand break. The early hand break keeps the arm moving early and on time. There is good use of the lower half throughout the delivery and a very effective lead leg block upon release. Crabtree is  a big bodied starter with an arm that could produce some high end velocity later on down the road. There is a lot to like about the sophomore and certainly a very high ceiling.
