By Greg Williams
PA Director of Scouting

HigginsA number of impressive performances were turned in at the Eastern PA Open ID Showcase on January 26 at B2B Baseball in Manheim, PA . One of the top performances of the day was turned in by 6-foot-3, 200-pound LHP Connor Higgnins (Parkland HS, 2015). Higgins sat 83-85 with a heavy fastball that touched 87 mph on several occasions. The athletic lefty showcased a feel for three pitches and a repeatable delivery that will lend itself to continued gains in velocity over time. Higgins, who also plays quarterback for Parkland, showed the potential to be a highly coveted recruit in the Class of 2015. Over the coming week we will analyze all the talent in attendance.
