Alex Berzonski is a 5-foot-11, 190-pound LHP/1B from Delone Catholic HS. The lefty went 4-1 with a 2.84 ERA in 2011. Following a strong junior season, Berzonski was named to the WWBA 16U World Series All-Tournament Team for his contributions as a hitter. During the course of the tournament, Berzonski went 5-for-10 with five RBI. Berzonski throws a fastball, curveball, changeup and knuckle ball. He tops in the low 80's, but commands all four pitches to keep hitters off balance.
