Prep Baseball Report has added 50 players to the Class of 2014 rankings following a busy summer. As we move through the winter months we will see even more quality players and plan to update the rankings again following the Pre-Season All-State Showcase in February.

Jordan Pocrass, 3B/1B, Lower Moreland HS, and Michael Collins, RHP, Mercersburg Academy, enter the rankings in the Top 25. Pocrass, who enters at No. 15, is a 5-foot-11, 195-pound prospect coming off a sophomore season in which he batted .500 with 23 runs scored and 27 RBI. Collins, who enters at No. 22, is an interesting prospect with a huge upside. The 6-foot-7, 220-pound RHP tops out at 84mph with much more in the tank.

The top five spots in the rankings continue to get juggled. LHP Brendan McKay, who jumped to the No. 1 spot following his impressive performance at the Midwest Future Games in August, now sits at No. 5. RHP Colton Hock, fresh off a summer in which he was named to the Area Code Nationals and made a commitment to Stanford University, moves up one spot to No. 4 in the rankings. SS Liam Sabino, who impressed this summer with his defensive play at shortstop and his improving bat, drops one spot to No. 3. OF Zach Jancarski, recently named to the WWBA Underclass World Championships Prime Nine Team, moves up one spot to No. 2.

Returning to the No. 1 spot in the Class of 2014 Rankings is 3B J.J. Matijevic. Matijevic was named the WPIAL Player of the Year for his play as a sophomore in 2012. This summer he was named the MVP for the East Team at the PG National Games. He recently completed his trifecta of awards by being named to the WWBA Underclass World Championships Prime Nine Team.
