+ St. Thomas Thomas Aquinas (18-2) swept a doubleheader from Blue Valley Northwest (13-7) by scores of 6-3 and 6-5 to capture the Eastern Kansas League title outright on Tuesday.
+ Mill Valley (16-3 overall, 12-2 KVL) edged out Turner (12-6 overall, 11-3 KVL) to capture their fourth consecutive Kaw Valley League championship.
OLATHE NORTH TOPS SJA ON SENIOR NIGHT
Senior Pratt CC commit LHP Tanner Kleinsasser fired a complete game and sophomore 3B Dalton Doyle reached base three times including a double and triple as Olathe North beat St. James Academy (14-5) by a score of 4-1 on Monday. Sophomore C Luke Patrie and junior OF Caleb Underwood also collected two hits for North in the win.
