On July 30th through August 1st, PBR New England will take a select team of players in the Classes of 2017 and 2018 to represent the New England states at the PBR Future Games in Indianapolis at Grand Park.

Players receive exposure unlike any other event for underclassmen. Last year, 100+ colleges from all over the country were in attendance, including coaches from every Division I power conference in the country. Only players who have a legitimate shot at being a Division I recruit and who have an interest in the possibility of making a verbal commitment during their sophomore or junior seasons have been considered.

Game 2: Team NE vs Team Pennsylvania

Team New England dropped a 3-2 decision.

On the mound, Shane Smith started and threw the ball well. The 2018 right-hander was 83-85 with a 67-69 mph breaking ball and a low-70s changeup. The arm works, athletic and there is more in there.
