Updated Class of 2020 Player Rankings (September)

The spring/summer have proved valuable for many 2020 prospects, with many names coming off the board to some of the top programs around the nation. Throughout the year we have traveled across the region to showcases and games.

That being said, we have had the pleasure of seeing a number of solid players this past year. Prospects are popping up left and right, making velocity jumps, improving 60-yard dash times and showing more power with the bat.

Below we will take a look at "The Newcomers”, “The Risers”, "The Sleepers" and some of the top uncommitted prospects by position.

The Newcomers

Joseph Whitman LHP / OF / Hudson, OH / 2020

Report: Purdue commit Joseph Whitman (Hudson) came into the summer a bit under the radar but it didn’t stay that way for long. On paper he is a college coaches dream. 6-foot-3, left-handed pitcher with a high spin rate fastball up to 87 mph, hammer of a breaking ball when in the zone, and a great student. So it’s no surprise he had his fair share of college coaches knocking on his door before ultimately deciding to be a Boilermaker.
