The Prep Baseball Report Dallas/Ft. Worth Underclass Trials is an open showcase for Class of 2020, 2021, and 2022 prospects. Not only will players receive high-level exposure, but the event will also serve as an identifier for the Prep Baseball Report Future Games, which is the premier summer scouting event for 2020 prospects across our coverage area, in addition to the North Texas Underclass Games.

All participants at the Underclass Trials will have their performance videotaped and hosted in their player profile, along with their verified statistics and scouting reports at, which is subscribed to by more than 800 colleges and pro scouts across the country. Top players will be listed accordingly in our statewide player rankings.

High-level prospects have the opportunity to be invited to the Prep Baseball Report Future Games, which features the top 2020 prospects from our 35-plus state coverage area. Last year, more than 250 college coaches from all over the country were in attendance. The eighth-annual Future Games will take place on Aug 1-Aug 4 (Thursday-Saturday) at Grand Park, a state-of-the-art 22-field baseball complex located in Westfield, IN, just north of Indianapolis.

The Underclass Trials also serves as an identifier for the North and South Texas Underclass Games.

There will be a talented group in attendance on Tuesday, including the No. 10 Ranked player in the Texas 2021 Class, CF Tyler Collins (McKinney Boyd). Collins started on varsity all year at Boyd, and hit leadoff. He has ultra-quick hands from the left side of the plate, and was a sub-7 runner at the Fall Underclass Games. 2020 C/OF Nathaniel Price was an every day starter for Mansfield Legacy HS this year, and was one of the Top Prospects from Preseason All-State Showcase in January. Price has great glove skills behind the plate to go with a quick exchange and great arm strength. The right-handed hitter also packs a punch, as he hit in the top half of Legacy’s lineup as a sophomore. There is a lot to like about 2020 RHP/SS Tyler Talbert (Flower Mound HS), who was another Top Performer from the Fall Underclass Games. Talbert has a projectable frame with life in his hack, solid fundamentals at shortstop and his arm works well on the mound. Keep an eye on several hitters, including 2020 1B Hunter Reid, who provided power as an everyday hitter in the middle of the Plano Senior lineup this spring. 2020 1B/RHP Harrison Hess (Midlothian Heritage) is another Top Performer from the Fall Underclass Games, at 6-foot-3, 195-pounds, Hess has a projectable frame and strength in his hands (92 exit velo). 2020 OF/INF Kameron Weil is a jack-of-all-trades, quick-twitch left-handed hitter that ran a 6.74 at the Fall Underclass Games, and also registered an exit velocity of 86 mph. 2020 OF Henry Cooper Huspen is an athletic, right-handed hitter that stood out last fall on numerous occasions, recording multiple hits in fall games, and also started on an Allen HS team that made a playoff run this year. 2020 RHP/OF Kyler Heyne is another athletic two-way player with a quick arm. 2020 OF Alex Gonzales, just got done winning the 4A State Title with Argyle HS. Gonzalez was a staple in the Eagles lineup all year as they had a perfect season at 37-0.
