Prep Baseball Report

Houston Preseason I.D. > Preview & Rosters

Toby Bicknell
Texas Scouting Director

On Saturday, January 6, Prep Baseball Report Texas will host the Houston Preseason I.D. in Tomball, TX at Premier Baseball. The event will feature players from all four high school classes.

The Prep Baseball Report Houston Preseason ID is an open showcase for all Classes. Not only will players receive high-level exposure, but the event will also serve as an identifier for the Prep Baseball Report Future Games, which is the premier summer scouting event for 2020 prospects across our coverage area, in addition to the Underclass Games, and future Invite-Only Events.

All participants at the Houston Preseason ID will have their performance videotaped and hosted in their player profile, along with their verified statistics and scouting reports at PrepBaseballReport.com, which is subscribed to by more than 850 colleges and pro scouts across the country. Top players will be listed accordingly in our statewide player rankings.

In attendance tomorrow will be 2020 C/OF Ben Dukes (Memorial HS) who spent his fall on the gridiron playing football for the Mustangs. Dukes is Ranked No. 27 in the Texas 2020 ClassNo. 165 Overall, and is being highly recruited throughout the state. Two other sophomore backstops to keep an eye on are 2020 C Christopher Wattinger (Bridgeland HS), and 2020 C Keaton Urioste (Cinco Ranch HS). 2019 LHP/1B Hayden Archer (Liberty HS) had a solid performance at the Fall Upperclass Games, both on the mound and at the plate.
