The junior went 4-for-6 with two home runs this week, including a walk-off grand slam on Tuesday to beat Wylie East. Finished with 8 total RBI, and also went three innings of relief in the same game to earn the win.

Grant Wood, RHP, Georgetown HS, 2019
Blinn JC commit. The senior threw a Perfect Game against Cedar Creek on the road, using only 89 pitches to strike out 8 and go the complete 7 innings.. Wood is now 7-0 on the season and has only allowed 1 earned run in his first start of the year against Rockwall Heath. The Eagles have been red hot this season, and went 3-0 last week with a big Non-District Win over Lake Travis on Saturday.
