LEANDER, TX - Round Rock and Rouse High School matched up for a very windy Thursday afternoon game. After a scoreless first, a throwing error by Rouse allowed Round Rock to take a 3-0 lead and they poured on the runs from there. The Dragons went on to score 3 in the second, 1 in the fourth, and 4 in the sixth. 2019 LHP Cameron Dayton never let the Rouse offense get anything going, hurling 4 scoreless innings with 4 punchouts, 1 walk and 1 hit. Round Rock rolled in this one, 11-0

Dayton also paced the Dragon offense, hitting a solo home run in the 4th to help his own cause and extend the lead to 7-0. Then, in the sixth, Round Rock got 4 more runs with doubles from Froemke and Hawkins, and singles from Driskell and Strmiska. Kyle Froemke worked a scoreless two innings, recording 4 strikeouts. Final Score: Round Rock 11, Rouse 0.
