It is with great excitement today we bring to you our first update of the class of 2022 rankings in VA/DC.  This will be a two-part release with our top 25 coming out today and our updated Top 250 being released tomorrow. 

As we reach the halfway point in the VHSL season and the last quarter of the private season, there has been plenty of movement in our rankings and the biggest shift has occurred at the top as we have a new No. 1 player in LHP Levi Huesman (Coastal Carolina). The Hanover HS star features a strong two pitch mix with a fastball that has climbed as high as 95 mph during the spring. There is still room to project Huesman as a potential starter at the professional level who could make a quicker impact out of the bullpen.

Hanover features three players in our top 10 with Huesman at No.1, P/IF Seth Keller at No. 3, and C Cannon Peebles at No. 7. Keller moves up into the top five after a really strong showing at the NHSI and getting up to 96 mph on the bump recently.

Yet to find our biggest climber in the ranks, you'll have to travel to the nation's capital at Gonzaga to see our new No. 5 player SS Nick Morabito. His rise has been a product of the fall and winter as his game continued to grow, and the talented infielder has risen onto many draft boards for this upcoming summer.
