No. 4 Arrowhead Shuts Out No. 9 Catholic Memorial 4-0

WAUKESHA, WI – With No. 9 Catholic Memorial taking the game on Monday over No. 4 Arrowhead. The Warhawks needed to bounce back Thursday evening to earn a share of the Little Ten Conference Title. Arrowhead scored three times in the sixth to capture the 4-0 win.
Michigan commit Ben Dragani got the start for Catholic Memorial and dominated the first five innings of the game striking out seven and allowing just four hits. Arrowhead starter Davis Zeutzius matched Dargani going 5.1 scoreless innings.
Arrowhead finally broke through in the top of the sixth when Collin Thiel and Alex Tanke singled to start the inning. Bryce Toussaint reached on a sacrifice bunt, fielders choice to load the bases. Jack Becker smoked a line drive to left field that allowed Thiel to come home with the first run. After a ground out, leadoff man Luke Dubnicka doubled down the left field line scoring two to give the Warhawks a 3-0 lead. Tanke delivered a sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh to push the lead to 4-0.
Jacob Johnson earned the save working the final 1.2 innings.
