West Milwaukee Preseason I.D.: Outfielder Analysis
March 20, 2019
The PBR Wisconsin staff traveled to Waukesha on Feb. 17 for the West Milwaukee Preseason ID. The event hosted 90+ prospects from The Badger State and provided a surplus of talent to recap and track throughout the WIAA season.
We’re in the midst of our week-long positional analysis from the event at STiKs Academy. If you missed some of our previous content, we got you covered. Immediately after the event, we released Quick Hits and the Statistical Analysis. The first positions to be unveiled this week have been catchers and infielders.
Without further ado, we bring you the outfielders.
Q Phillips (uncommitted; 2021) is ranked No.10 in the 2021 class for a reason. At the West Milwaukee Preseason ID, he showcased quickness and speed, running a 6.94 60--yard dash. He continues to show feel and determination on the diamond. Alex Ryan (uncommitted; 2020) is a natural athlete and one of the top prospects in his class. Eli Hoyt (uncommitted; 2021) put together a good round of BP showing loose hands and bat speed. All his tools add up to an above-average grade.
Dylan Nevar (uncommitted; 2020) is poised to have another great high school season, as he did a year ago with a plethora of accolades. He worked out as a two-way prospect and continues to show promise at the dish and on the bump.
