Hansen has been on an upward trend since his preseason showing at the Milwaukee Preseason I.D. He followed that up with a big spring campaign earning PBR First Team All-State honors, and has continued to show an intriguing profile suited for the next level. He’s a L/L athlete, with a physically impressive stature at 6-foot-3, 205-pounds. We’ve consistently seen him put up some of the better BLAST swing metrics in terms of rotational acceleration and hand speed, both which allow him to sequence his swing well and pull that trigger later than most hitters, all of which bodes well for his future against higher velocity arms.
3/21/21
Built at a premium 6-foot-3, 205 pounds, Hansen stands out amongst the crowd instantly. His physicality is made even more intriguing by his left/left handedness, and ability to clock a 7.02 time in the 60-yard dash. Offensively he’s got a grown-man look in the box with a quiet confident approach and generates above-average bat and hand speed, making hard line-drive contact on repeat to his pull-side. He averaged an exit speed of 84.5 mph, with a 91.4 high. Defensively, he was 88 mph on his throws home, too, comfortably moving around the outfield.

Hansen has put together a tremendous week and he slugged a three-run homer on Saturday to add to it.
