At the end of each calendar year, the PBR Wisconsin Staff highlights the 10 most viewed profiles of 2023 in the state of Wisconsin. Today, we’ll be continuing our way up to the top spot with No. 8 and unveiling the No. 1 most viewed profile Dec. 30.

Our profiles serve as an all-in-one platform for players, hosting vendors such as verified stats, event video, contact information, and more. To create a free PBR profile, click HERE.

After a year filled with accolades and achievements, RHP Dylan Questad (Waterford, 2023) slots in our most-viewed profiles of 2023 at No. 5.

Standing at 6-feet, 200 pounds, the right-handed ace features a commanding fastball that we have seen up to 96 mph but his impressive three-pitch mix does not stop there. He features a sharp curveball with late 11/5 action and a fading changeup in the low-80s, too. Across the year, Questad showed and continued to reinforce the notion that he was the top-ranked prospect in Wisconsin since he taking over the spot in 2021.

Questad entered the spring headlining a talented Wolverine squad, a team who was consistently inside of our Power 25 list throughout the year and he was dominant to say the least. During his senior spring, Questad posted a season statline of a 0.48 ERA, 0.71 WHIP, and 89 Ks through 43 and two-thirds innings of work. To little surprise, Questad earned PBR Wisconsin All-State First Team honors and was named Wisconsin Gatorade Player of the Year. Here is what our staff had to say regarding Questad’s spring season for Waterford in our PBR Wisconsin WIAA All-State First Team piece:

“The senior wrapped up his prep career this spring by dominating his competition when he took the field on the mound, earning a First Team All-State award as a pitcher. Despite being on a pitch count, Questad’s numbers pop in 43.2 innings of work. The Arkansas commit finished with a 5-1 record, tallying 89 strikeouts and leading Waterford to a Southern Lakes Conference Championship. Questad finished with a 0.48 ERA and a 0.71 WHIP, only allowing 14 hits on the season, along with three earned runs. His near flawless work on the bump earned him the Wisconsin Gatorade Player of the Year award a couple of weeks ago, as he added onto his numerous accolades with a First Team All-State award, his first in his time playing for the Wolverines.”

Scouting Report

8/07/22

Eyes were certainly fixed on Meyer in the first game of the event, but RHP Dylan Questad (Waterford HS, WI) stole the show, striking out six over three perfect innings. The Arkansas recruit induced weak contact early with a heavy fastball that sat 94-96 mph, then started racking up swings and misses. The curveball was inconsistent, coming up and out of his hand and showing early break at times, but it did flash above average. He also mixed in a running changeup at 83-84.

After the spring, Questad’s prolific prep career came to a culmination when he was selected by the Minnesota Twins in the 5th round of the 2023 MLB Draft. The recent high-school graduate forewent his commitment to Arkansas and put pen to paper when he officially signed with the Twins.

After headlining Wisconsin’s class of 2023 for multiple years, the professional will now look to carry over his success at the highest levels of baseball.
