Joseph DodrillThe Western PA College Prospect Showcase took place on June 30 with a total of 76 players displaying their talents for PBR staff and a dozen colleges in attendance. Of those on the roster just three hailed from West Virginia.

Outfielder Joseph Dodrill flashed a well-rounded skill set that placed him among the top outfield prospects in attendance. Dodrill hits from a slightly open stance. The 5-foot-10, 145-pound right-handed hitter barreled the baseball consistently with a flat bat path while showing the ability to use all fields. Dodrill showed athletic actions in the outfield with an accurate 82 mph arm and ran a 7.01 60-yard dash.

The uncommitted senior-to-be was a starter for Bridgeport High School this spring as the Indians defended their Class AA West Virginia State title. Dodrill shined on the big stage going 3-for-5 with a triple, a run scored and four RBI in Bridgeport's semifinal win over PikeView.
