The West Virginia Top Prospect Games are less than two months away and the roster continues to fill with some of the state's top talent.

Jacob Bolander2016 RHP/3B Jacob Bolander (East Fairmont) will return to attempt to repeat his success in the inaugural WV Top Prospect Games. Bolander earned MVP honors for his team a year ago following his five innings of work on the mound over two days of game action. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound righty sat 81-83 from a high 3/4 arm slot giving up just one run on two hits while striking out four. Bolander also commanded a 71 mph curveball with tight 11/5 rotation and a 70 mph changeup thrown at fastball arm speed. The righty has sound, repeatable mechanics and a frame that projects for velocity gains in the coming years. Bolander is currently ranked No. 10 in the WV Class of 2016.

The 2015 West Virginia Top Prospect Games will take place August 8-9 at the YMCA Kennedy Center Field in Huntington. As we draw closer to August we will continue to highlight top prospects scheduled to participate in the state's premier event of the summer.
