Positional Profile: LHP/OF Southpaw that has seen an increase in velocity.
Body: 6-0, 160-pounds. Lean, athletic frame.
Delivery: Solid lower half, repeatable mechanics with nice balance.
Arm Action: LH. High, quick 3/4 slot.
FB: T83.7, 81.5-83.2 mph. Showed a ton of arm side run. T2153, 1957 average rpm.
SL: 70.1-71.7 mph. Tight spin with late, minimal break. Solid feel for the pitch. T2008, 1939 average rpm.
CH: 74.3-75.7 mph. The pitch really disappears and tumbles to the arm side. T1875, 1685 average rpm.

Positional Profile: LHP/OF
Body: 6-0, 160-pounds. Athletic frame with room to fill out.
Delivery: Tall and fall delivery utilizing the lower half well.
Arm Action: LH. High 3/4 slot.
FB: T83, 80-82 mph. Flashed legit arm-side run. T2288, 2132 average rpm.
CB: 67-69 mph. Gradual 11/5 action, sharp late break. T2025, 1985 average rpm.
CH: 74-75 mph. Arm-side fade with feel for the zone. T1843, 1817 average rpm.
6-foot, 155-pound long athletic frame. Highly projectable on the mound, Mooney shows a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action and quick arm speed. The southpas shows nice feel on the mound twith low effort in the delivery. Showed a consistent balance point and lands square with lead foot. The fastball sat 79-80 mph and topped out at 82 mph with typical LHP arm side action. Features a 12/6 curveball (62-63) and showed command around the zone with late action on the pitch.
5-foot-9, 120 pounds. Fundamentally sound left-handed arm. Mechanics are smooth, and allows him to have a consistent release point. FB was 73-75. Was not overpowering, but he pounded the zone and forced contact. Velo will come with his mechanics. Keeps the ball low and forces weak contact.
Young player with some solid fundamentals that should continue to develop over the next few years. At the plate he started with a slightly open stance with the feet and created some whip through the zone with the barrel. The hands worked well inside the ball and he stayed in the middle of the field. There was some nice feel to his outfield play as he tracked balls very well and showed a quick transfer from the catch to the throw. The arm will continue to get stronger but the setup is solid.
