2022 RHP Ben Hewitt put together a really good outing for North Shore at the Best of the West. He was attacking hitters almost exclusively with the fastball that sat 84-86 T87 early on. The 6-foot-4, 185-pound right-hander struck out three through two innings without allowing a walk or hit. The velocity fell to 81-84 later on and hitters began slowly catching up but it was overall a very impressive outing from the Antelope Valley commit.
