Preseason All-State. This is our first look at Garcia. Stands on a small, thin frame, high waist with ample room to add weight and muscle. Sets up with a balanced, regular stance with feet shoulder width apart and hands positioned by ear. Shows an opposite field approach with average bat speed currently. Added strength will allow Garcia to get to the inside pitch and drive it. Ground ball round was clean and picked out the proper hops but had issues making accurate, strong throws to first base.

Riverside County Preseason All-State - small stature at 5-foot-6 120 pounds gives this 2023 right-hander lots of room for growth. Hides the ball very well and commanded the zone throughout his showing giving him starter potential down the line. Fastball at 65-67 mph showed some arm-side-run to both sides of the plate. Commanded a loopy curveball at 57-58 mph and a change-up with good speed differential from his fastball at 56-58 mph. At times tried to be too fine and yanked the ball out of the zone with his frontside showing that inline mechanics and trusting his ability are his keys to his success.
