6/12/18
5-foot-8, 130-pounds, lean, wiry, high waist, long limbs. Juarez shows a clean, simple delivery with a high ¾ arm slot without much effort. Shows a short arm action with average arm speed. HIs delivery has some rhythm to it with level shoulders and a consistent inline direction. Lands square. His fastball has late run to the arm side at 71-74 which he threw for strikes. His curveball flashes downer movement with a gradual break to it that starts at the hip and always misses down. Juarez throws it from nearly the same arm speed and maintains arm slot when thrown. Shows signs of a really good pitch in the future. Presently sat 64-65 with the curveball. Juarez also flashed some feel for a changeup that shows fading movement from the same arm slot and speed. The pitch lacks consistency at this point, but when thrown with conviction it had nice movement.
