7/19/18 - Upperclass Tourney - Big, strong, long and physical catcher, good gap to gap swing, bat speed showed has showed in both batting practice sessions and game action. Chadwick has the ability to get his swing on plane with the pitch and drive the baseball in the gaps. There is plenty more power projection as he physically matures and learns to utilize leverage in his swing. Watched him hit doubles to both gaps in game action. Average runner underway which speaks to overall athleticism. Possesses good arm strength with a compact arm action and displayed ability to routinely put his throws on the bag, which also speaks to his quality footwork. Blocking and receiving skills are average (at his present level) right now, but have flashed potential for more with a little refinement. Pop times were 2.06-2.15. /// BP notes: good balance, worked opposite field well with good separation and ability to drive ball that way, body projects nicely, little better bat control and he could be real good
