Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 5-11, 140 pounds. Real lean build. Longer limbs. Tons of room to add gains.
Hit: Quiet set up in stance. Feet set shoulder width apart with relaxed hands. Some rhythm in hands as they load. Slight gather into the backside before a simple forward move. Slight barrel tip. Smooth stroke as back elbow works under nicely for a more level-uphill path. Below average bat speed. Middle of the field approach throughout round.
Power: 87 mph max exit velo, 302ft max distance. Flashes of gap to gap power.
Defense: Solid actions in the OF. Confident glove. Attacks with good momentum. Quicker in getting into crowhop. â…˜ accurate throws during defensive workout. Average arm strength for level. Lower arcing throws. 3 were accurate one hops and 1 was on the fly.
Run: 7.29 laser timed 60.
Positional Profile: OF/RHP - Multi-talented 2-way talent is one to watch in the 2023 class.
Body: 5-11, 140-pounds. Lean athletic body, wiry and lithe.
Defense: Athletic set up, creates appropriate angles, athletic feet, graceful actions.
Arm: RH. OF - 83 mph. Loose arm, gets to release quickly, projects to be an above avg, potentially plus OF arm.
Hit: RHH. Slight open, pinched knees, tall early barrel, small hand load, minimal stride. Works inside, quick trigger, loose hands, consistent attack angle with line drive plane, power will come with size, uses core well to generate bat speed; 50% line drives.
Power: 87 mph exit velocity in BP via Trackman. 18.9 max hand speed, 61.3 max bat speed.
Run: 7.39 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Smooth rhythmic delivery, knee lift just above waist, gathers over rubber, toe pointed up over heel, cross body stride, athletic body control, stable landing.
Arm Action: RH. Loose smooth arm action, modest depth on backside, consistent arm swing, efficient, projects well.
FB: T79, 77-78 mph. Hints of spin that project future velo gains, considerable movement pattern, strength will amplify the FB.
SL: 65-69 mph. Slippery, sizable break, spins it naturally, finishes well, potential swing/miss pitch.
CH: 70-72 mph. Late depth in zone, showed feel over the plate, significant decrease in spin off the FB with similar movement though a lower release height.
