vs San Benito HS - Lithe lean build, fluid actions, cross body stride, lively quick arm releasing from 3/4 slot, no trouble generating velocity, horizontal run on crisp FB (89-93) that stays on plane with flashes of riding action, able to get to glove side fairly well despite the significant opposite stride direction, big slurve type CB that showed variance in shape and velocity, 73-74 mph with more depth and verticality vs 76-77 mph that as wider and sweepier, both with quick change of direction. Went 2 IP (0 R, 0 BB, 4 K, H, 32 P, 7 BF) in a planned outing for that length, has strikeout ability given the raw stuff and scissor effect of FB run vs big breaking ball moving in opposite directions along with the stride giving some RHH the feeling that he's coming right at their front hip. LARGE contingent of MLB area scouts and a few crosscheckers on hand to see this outing.

2022 AREA CODE GAMES: showcased the most electric upside of any of the A’s arms, and came out flooding the zone with a fastball that worked 93-95 from a ¾ slot. Loose throughout a continuous arm stroke, the velocity comes easy for Keenan, who will likely see it tick up next spring. Inconsistency with a 10/4 slurve affected his final statline, but should the pitch tick up over the next year, Keenan holds some of the highest upside in the class.
