Fall tournament - Uncommitted; Long and lanky, Lee has added some size and strength to his lower body from the last time I saw him. He has the physical attributes that are easy to be drawn to, height, size, loose and quick arm (high-3/4 slot), and enough raw stuff to dream on. The fastball was up to 87 and steadily 84-86 for his four innings. He did have to dip down to the 82-83 mph range to get some strikes as his control was spotty, due to the front shoulder flying and too much energy going toward the 1st base line. When on-time and with good direction there is considerable sink to the fastball, which plays well off his 71-74 mph slider that can create a scissor-effect to hitters. Can hold runners better and develop better mechanics (posture over the rubber), which he will be able to do as Lee is a good athlete who fields his position well and also swings the bat quite well.

At Salinas HS - Uncommitted. XL frame that is lean and long with length in the limbs; projectable frame with space to add strength. Stands tall and narrow with slightly opened feet. Hands stay high with high back elbow keeping barrel straight up. Hands stay at the back shoulder with body stretching on controlled front foot stride. Drives back leg down as hands turn barrel keeping the hands tight to the body. Swing works on upwards path showing good tilt in the shoulders and ability to stay behind the baseball as he swings through extension. Had another round of great AB’s; drove a liner over the 2nd baseman's head before hitting a missile at the center fielder and finished with a quality AB before drawing a walk. Decent range at 1st with agility in the field and around the bag; big, tall target showing a glove that will work well at 1st Base. Chance to be a good two-way player for a team at the next level as bat continues to find barrels and be a middle-of-the-order threat.
