4/19/18 - Smallish body type but built like an athlete, 5-foot-7 and around 140-pounds. Rat type kid, varsity starter as freshman, clearly liked and accepted by the older teammates, hits lead-off and has some spark plug type talents. Very short stroke and quick hands stay inside the ball, good front side, stays in well vs left-handed pitching and he's committed to and disciplined with a middle of the field contact approach. Has bat control and barrel awareness, should be low strikeout type with ability to grind at-bats and compete vs good velocity. Also showed situational hitting awareness. Runs fairly well and could improve as he physically matures (4.37 on an E5). Played left field and roamed A LOT of ground, going back and to his left a long way. Good reads and jumps with a clean first step. Competitive kid likes to show up to the yard.
