Positional Profile: RHP/OF A repeatable, same-slot delivery with a long, loose arm action.
Body: 6-5, 217-pounds. Tall, long-levered frame with room to add more strength.
Delivery: Offset, front facing delivery. Glove sets up at chin level with a quick rock back on the front leg and a high leg kick towards the chest. Quick extension into the sink of the hips creates decent separation. Shows repeatable mechanics throughout.
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 release point with a jab arm backpath. Very long, loose release with heavy recoil present. Throws from the same slot on every pitch.
FB: T91, 89-90 mph. Firm with some life, ASR present. T2128, 1955 average rpm.
SL: 75-76 mph. Wide vertical break, shows some horizontal movement. T1826, 1799 average rpm.
CH: 81-81 mph. Fading action towards the arm side. T1484, 1484 average rpm.

Elizondo impressed in a three-inning relief appearance, flashing a high-upside profile and the kind of raw tools that project well long term. He worked 89-90 mph with the FB, showing life through the zone and a clean release out of a wiry, athletic frame. The arm action is loose and whippy, generating late explosion with minimal effort, and there’s plenty of room for added velocity as he continues to develop physically. Elizondo effectively tunneled his heater with a short, late-breaking SL at 76-78 mph, a pitch he showed comfort throwing in different counts. He also mixed in a slower 71-73 mph CB that created a different shape and helped disrupt timing. That developing three-pitch mix, along with his ability to land both secondaries for strikes, allowed him to work efficiently and miss barrels throughout his outing. He allowed 2 runs in the 6th when the game was already out of hand but for the most part, was throwing like the score was 0-0. Though still in the early stages of polishing his full arsenal, Elizondo’s present stuff and feel for sequencing already flash above his age level. There’s still refinement ahead, but he’s trending in the right direction, showing poise, strike-throwing ability, and a frame that will continue to hold strength. One of the more intriguing young arms in the area with plenty of ceiling to project on.

Physical: 6-3, 180 pounds; Projectable build. Tall and long-limed with some lean athleticism. 7.59 60yd-dash. 

Offensively: RHH. Wider base with loose hands in stance. Raw mechancially. Toe tap trigger. Smaller takeback of hands. Some drift of upper half. Longer swing but above avg. bat/hand speed. Slight uphill bat path. Pounded the LC gap throughout his round. Consistent out front contact point. More LDs than FBs/GBs during round. 

Defensively: OF - 85 MPH. Smaller prep-hop to start. Relaxed at first step but gains momentum and speed as he begins approach. Works through it low and with body-control into crowhop. Longer AA that works with a stab in the back. Advanced arm strength. 4/5 accurate 1-hopped throws that worked on-a-line. 

Pitching: Athletic delivery. Side steps into a mid-chest knee lift. Decent drop into backleg thats more ER dominant and pushy. Rotates fast into footplant. Lower half works in-line. Larger stride. Avg. block. Shoulders work behind hips into footplant. Hand land path out the glove that works to a H 3/4 slot. Advanced arm speed. Slightly lower slot on off speed. FB worked 82-84 showing some early signs of carry shape with higher IVB. SL was of the shorter variety at 67-69 still getting positive IVB and about 5 inches of sweep.
