Binghamton Series 2/26-2/27/22: Big strong 6-foot-5 XL frame with broad shoulders. Garriola has a square, squatty stance at the plate. Hands drop a little on the load and move into a slight arm bar. It is a bit of a longer path to contact, but did show the ability to get the hands in on inside fastballs and get the barrel to the contact point. When Garriola chased he chased soft and chased down, very few times did I see him chase a fastball out of the zone, or any pitch up for that matter. He had a double to deep right center field on Saturday and the go ahead homerun on Sunday. Both big hits were in 0-1 counts and when he is on time is it real game power that plays to all parts of the field.
