NCTB Fall Classic - Overhand slot, short backside, arm speed looks to be quicker than the ball was coming out, FB was 77-80 in an extended outing, occasional good angle, fairly straight, curveball 12/6 rolling action, lost quite a few to the arm side which indicates need for better release point. Same release point issue points to need for more lower body development, both in terms of strength but also in the delivery.
NCTB Fall Classic - Lean lanky 6-foot-1 165-pounds, overhand slot, arm works and as body gains size and strength there will be velocity gains that naturally come along, fastball up to 79 mph in this outing but with easy effort and indications that he has plenty more velocity coming as he matures, big 12/6 tumbling curveball 64-67 mph and thrown with feel, changeup 73 mph, this is a sophomore pitcher to see in the spring of 2019 and tag to follow beyond that.
