Positional Profile: INF/OF/OF
Physical: 6-2, 175-pounds; Large frame with some lean athleticism. 7.01 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Short take back with the hands with a toe-tap for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a direct swing path with level finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 95 MPH via Trackman. Consistent hard contact. Strong hands. Advanced bat speed for his age. Steeper bat path. Middle of the field approach throughout his round.
Defensively: INF - 74 MPH. OF - 84 MPH. Relaxed defensive actions in the INF with present understanding of fundamentals with his feet and glove. More aggressive approach in the OF. Gets around and works through the ball well. Clean funnel up to the belt flashing a quick exchange. Arm works from the 3/4 slot. Arm played in the OF showing strength and life to the bag.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup working primarily from the stretch. Belt high leg drive with shoulders outside the hips. Has a short stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while showing effortless and fluid actions with armspeed late; high 3/4 slot. Square to the plate and lands soft at finish. FB: Peak velo of 77 MPH, while sitting 76-77 MPH; plays up in the zone with above average VB (21 inch). SL: 65-69 MPH; short action. CH: 65-69 MPH; sinks.
