8/9/16 - Showed the ability to control the barrel against the Nationals, flicking a 91 mph fastball away down the left field line for a double.

6/24/16 - Hit three balls hard on Wednesday and continued to swing a hot bat Thursday. He lined out to center field and then squared up a double to left-center field with a short, quick stroke. He was 2-for-3.

6/23/16 - Had a strong day at the plate, squaring balls up in three of his four trips to the plate. He flew out to right field in his first at-bat and then popped out to third in his second. He collected hits in his next two trips, a double that was smashed to left-center field and then a singled that was shot over the shortstop’s ahead.

8/11/16 - In BP, he stayed short to the ball with a simple, easy swing. Unfortunately, he didn’t really get to show it in the game as he walked twice and was hit by a pitch. He scored one run.

8/10/15 - Strong frame at 6 feet, 190 pounds. Already committed to San Diego, he put a good short swing on two balls, squaring up a single to right-center field and flying out to center.
