North Carolina St. recruit. Fast twitch athlete that maximizes the output of his medium sized frame’s allotted strength and speed. Demonstrates excellent technique and body control that compliments his natural athleticism on defense. Displays acrobatic ability, smooth, quick hands and actions with a quick release. Faulsken will make the routine plays and shows creativity on balls at the end of his range. Profiles at the top of the lineup type hitter that can control the barrel and spray the ball to all fields.

North Carolina State recruit. Falsken’s deep home run over the right field fence from the left side kicked off his weekend in style, and he continued to show well in each look that I got of him. Relaxed with the hands pre pitch in an athletic, upright position, he comfortably loads them down and back with a normal stride before working the barrel flat through the zone. It is a simple approach, but his loose wrists provide for some bat speed, and he exhibited plate coverage in driving some firmly hit balls to all fields. The hands and arm strength are solid at shortstop, though he might fit better at second base in the future. The 5-foot-9, 155-pounder features some proportional strength throughout an athletic frame, and was one of the big winners of the weekend.
