2022 AREA CODE GAMES: stands at a projectable 6-foot-3, 190 pounds and has a loose, easy delivery. A UC Santa Barbara recruit, he allowed three hits and a walk, while striking out four in three innings of work. The fastball is lively, sitting 90-93 and spinning in the 2300-2500 range. He threw a slider in the upper 70s that had sharp, late bite and showed solid feel for a changeup in the low 80s. He also mixed in a curveball, though he didn’t land it consistently and it had loopy break as it came up and out of his hand.
